   <title>End of the Year Information</title>

   <description><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="3">I would like to express my thanks to the parents who have volunteered in the library this year:<span>&#160;</span> <b>Celia Prudhomme, Lynne Garvin, Kathy Belleville, Andrea Gardiner, Laurie Slomiak, Liz McLaughlin, Karen Santos, Sue Worley, Cheryl Pearson, Cherie Bailey, Charlene Hillman, Jennifer Bell, Annee Larson, Grace Chapman.</b> and <strong>Shannon Kavanagh</strong>.<span>&#160;</span> Their help has been greatly appreciated.<br /></font></span>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="3">All library books are due on or before June 3<sup>rd</sup>, and must be returned (or paid for if lost) by that date.<span>&#160;</span> Textbooks must be returned by the date given by the teacher, which will be no later than June 10.<span>&#160;</span> If not, you will be responsible for the replacement cost.<span>&#160;</span> The average textbook cost is $60.<span>&#160;</span> If you pay for a book that is later found, you will receive a refund.<span>&#160;</span></font></span></div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="3"><span>Sixth and seventh grade students who plan to attend Redwood next year may check out an unlimited number of library books over the summer once all books (including textbooks) have been returned.</span></font></span></div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="3">Students who do not return materials or pay for lost or damaged materials will not receive their yearbook on June 11.<span>&#160;</span> Eighth grade students with outstanding materials or fines will not be able to participate in the Magic Mountain trip as well.</font></span></div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="3">Books found on campus are brought to the library.<span>&#160;</span> Please check in the library for books lost this school year.<span>&#160;</span> At the end of the school year those remaining will be donated.</font></span></div>

   <title>Brandon Mull Comes to Town!</title>

   <description><p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="3">Brandon Mull, who spoke at Redwood a year ago, has written the third book in the Fablehaven series, <i>Grip of the Shadow Plague</i>.<span>&#160;</span> It will be released on Tuesday, April 22.<span>&#160;</span> Brandon Mull is making an appearance at the Borders in Thousand Oaks on Wednesday, April 23, at 7 p.m.<span>&#160;</span> He will be available to sign copies of his books.<span>&#160;</span> I have read and thoroughly enjoyed Brandon ’s first two books in the series, of which we have copies in the library.<span>&#160;<br />

   <description><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="3">I would like to thank student Michele Magnusson who won a donation of books for the library.<span>&#160;</span> She participated in a horseback riding event at a benefit show and as a result was able to donate nine books from the Riding For Reading program.<span>&#160;</span> There are three copies of each title: “Gallop to the Sea”, “The Horse from Nowhere”, and Brazen Horse”.<span>&#160;</span></font><br /></span></description>
